School Year & Year-Round Opportunities

  • Educational Artist: Part-time Educational Artists lead creative theater classes and programs onsite and offsite. Kidstock! provides paid training, curriculum materials, and supplies. This is a great position for musicians, teachers, actors, artists, and dancers who have an interest or background in teaching and want to supplement their income. We offer competitive pay and flexible schedules with opportunities for growth.

  • School Vacation Activity Coordinator: Assist staff and Educational Artists during school breaks and no school day programming including arrival, snack, lunch, and assisting with teaching. Candidates should be kid-friendly, creative, and self-motivated and confident with engaging with children, leading theater games, or performing as a character. 

  • Administration & Staff: Full time employees join us in our administrative offices and enjoy flexible schedules, paid vacation, subsidized healthcare, support, peer mentoring, advancement and reimbursement for professional arts  development.  When there is an opening for a full time opportunity, we often post these positions online at hireculture.org, indeed and our social media accounts.

Summer Opportunities

Summer positions at Kidstock! are seasonal full time jobs on Monday–Friday from 8:00 am-5:00 pm from June to right before the end of Labor Day. These positions are ideal for students, educators, and artists looking for seasonal work. Kidstock! provides paid training and summer uniforms to all employees. Summer positions are posted in early February and returning staff receive priority consideration.

  • Group Leader/Drama Counselor: A role model and responsible, energetic position, Drama Counselors lead a team of 10-16 students through the daily schedule and serving as assistants to our art, drama, and dance instructors. The ideal candidate is pleasant, kid-friendly, and creative and has experience leading or working with children.

  • Activity Coordinator: Responsible for supervising students during “non teaching” times such as arrival, snack, lunch, managing the program schedule, and maintaining a safe and creative environment, as well as assisting with teaching times as needed. The ideal candidate is pleasant, kid-friendly, self motivated, organized, creative, and bold. Candidates should be competent and confident with at two of the following activities: teaching and creatively engaging children, leading theater games, leading outdoor recreational activities, or performing as a character.

  • Office Assistant: Handles parent communications, manages the schedule, facilitates all necessary communication between programs, assists and supports the Program Directors, and steps in as a substitute as needed in any program. Candidates should have experience in an office setting and working with children. The ideal candidate has experience in customer service, excels at time management, and is a self-motivated team player. This position requires a working knowledge of gmail and google drive, involves computer work, database management, payment processing, effective and concise email communication, confidence in describing our programs to prospective parents, and coordination with teaching staff.

  • Assistant Director: Responsible for supervising drama counselors, managing the program schedule, maintaining a safe & creative environment, as well as assisting with drama, art, dance and music as needed. The ideal candidate is pleasant, kid-friendly, self motivated, organized, creative, and bold. Candidates must have actual experience working with students teaching theater, and/or directing staged productions with children. The ideal candidate will also have experience managing a team of young adults. As this program creates original plays based on storybooks, theatrical prompts or parody titles, experience devising, improvising, and/or writing is a plus!​ For the right interested candidate, there is the opportunity to grow this position into a year round role with Kidstock! for Fall 2025.

  • Pianist: Responsible for leading the musical aspect of each week and playing the piano for the end of week stage presentation. Candidates must have actual experience working with students teaching singing, and/or music directing staged productions with children. Simple song composition ability is strongly desired but not required. The ideal candidate will have strong sight reading skills and the ability to “play by ear.”

  • Visual Art Instructor: Responsible for developing daily projects for each age group that complement the drama curriculum for that week and leading the instruction of the class time.

  • Theater Designer: Responsible for creating inclusive opportunities for students to participate in the creation of props, scenery, and costumes for their end of week presentations. Candidates should be competent and confident in costuming, scenic painting, prop making, set construction, or stage lighting. 

  • Creative Movement Specialist: Responsible for leading the dance program and devising the choreography for the end of week presentation.
