Creative storytelling and student expression give a new twist on familiar fairy tales
Winchester, MA — Kidstock! Creative Theater is proud to announce its 2025–26 season, headlined by three brand-new original musicals: Spinning Out, a bold twist on the tale of Rumpelstiltskin coming Fall 2025; Threads of Deception, a reimagining of the classic fairy tale The Emperor’s New Clothes set to debut in Winter 2026; and Tangled Truth, a new take on the story of Rapunzel. Produced by Kidstock’s KCT Company, an inclusive performance program for students of all skill levels in Grades 4–9, these original productions shine a spotlight on the heart and core of Kidstock!: creativity, originality, and fun.
Written and choreographed in-house by Kidstock’s team of teaching artists and performed by the KCT Company, these productions showcase the theater’s ongoing commitment to empowering youth through creativity, collaboration, and performance. Each musical offers a fresh take on classic stories, infused with humor, heart, and plenty of unexpected turns—all while providing students with the chance to shape their characters, explore their artistic voices, and grow in confidence on stage.
“Original theater is at the core of what we do,” said Brian Milton, Creative Director of Kidstock! “These shows aren’t just performances—they’re platforms for our students to be heard, seen, and celebrated for who they are. We conceive with our students in mind and build the story with them in the room. It’s how we help young artists take ownership of their creativity.”
As a leader in youth theater education in the greater Boston area, for over 30 years Kidstock! has championed original programming that places self-expression, ensemble collaboration, and imaginative thinking above all. The 2025–26 season deepens that mission, inviting young performers of all experience levels to explore their potential in a supportive, joyful environment. In addition to original products with the KCT Company, this season at Kidstock! also includes a robust schedule of classes in acting, improvisation, and performance for Pre-K to Grade 6 and advanced acting classes for Grades 7–9, school vacation programs, and more.
Registration for Kidstock!’s 2025-26 season is now open, with KCT Company rehearsals beginning this fall. Families are encouraged to enroll early to secure a spot in what promises to be a season full of magic, mystery, and meaningful growth.
