Summer Job Opportunities
Summer 2026 positions at Kidstock! are seasonal weekly jobs from June 22 to Aug 28. These positions are ideal for theater professionals, performing arts instructors, artists, educators & students, looking for seasonal work. Kidstock! provides paid training to all employees. Summer hiring starts in early February and returning staff receive priority consideration. Ideal candidates have the majority of our 10 week summer program available in their schedule for employment.
All summer staff, in addition to their specific job responsibilities, are expected to support the daily operation of a structured, safe, and engaging activity-based program for children. Staff must provide responsible supervision, maintain a positive and organized environment, collaborate with colleagues, and contribute to a successful end-of-week presentation.
DRAMA DIRECTORS
Age Levels: PREK, Gr K-1, Gr 2-5
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:15 AM–4:45 PM
Compensation: $850–$1000/week based on experience
Responsible for leading curriculum-based creative theater activities that prepare students for a devised end-of-week presentation combining two storybooks. Directors guide acting, storytelling, character development, and rehearsal process appropriate to each age group.
DANCE SPECIALISTS
Age Levels: PREK, Gr K-1, Gr 2-5
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:15 AM–4:45 PM
Compensation: $850–$1000/week based on experience
Responsible for leading curriculum-based creative movement activities and developing simple choreography for end-of-week presentations. Experience leading theater activities is required.
MUSIC SPECIALISTS
Age Levels: PREK, Gr K-1, Gr 2-5
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:15 AM–4:45 PM
Compensation: $850–$1000/week based on experience
Responsible for providing piano accompaniment and leading singers in preselected songs for end-of-week presentations. Experience leading theater activities is required.
ART SPECIALISTS
Age Levels: PREK–Gr 1, Gr 2-5
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:45 AM–6:15 PM
Compensation: $850–$1000/week based on experience
Responsible for designing, preparing, and instructing daily art projects based on weekly themes. Also supports basic production elements including costuming, scenery, and props for end-of-week presentations.
PROGRAM COORDINATORS
Age Levels: PREK, Gr K-1, Gr 2-5
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:45 AM–4:15 PM
Compensation: $850–$1000/week based on experience
Responsible for managing the daily schedule, supervising snack and lunch periods, and coordinating outdoor recreational activities. Supports the overall needs of the end-of-week production. Experience leading theater games and assisting with production elements is required.
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Age Levels Supported: PREK–Gr 5
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:15 AM–4:45 PM
Compensation: $700–$800/week based on experience
Responsible for supporting the administrative needs of the summer program, including parent communication, database entry and management, registrations, payment processing, customer service, and student support.
JESTER GROUP LEADERS
Age Levels: PREK, Gr K-1, Gr 2-5
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:15 AM–4:45 PM
Compensation: $625/week
Responsible for accompanying a group of 10–16 students through their daily schedule of activities, serving as a role model and mentor while supporting classroom teachers and specialists throughout the day.
