Meet Our Team

The Kidstock! team of creative professionals are trained educators committed to our philosophy and the joy of theater. Many of our team are also singers, actors, and comedians in their own right as well! Scroll down to meet our incredible team.

Brian Milton

Founding Creative Director

Brian Milton is the founding creative director of Kidstock! Creative Theater. He is a life long resident of Winchester, a graduate of Tufts University and occasionally a florist/special events designer. His past directing and design credits include work with the Boston Children’s Theatre, the Winchester Cooperative Theater, and the Lyric Stage Company in Boston where he produced the family theater series “Once Upon A Time with Kidstock!” 

Brian directed 15 productions at Winchester High School over more than 10 years including an award winning production of Taming of the Shrew. His Director/Designer credits at NDT include You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown, Little Shop of Horrors, Lettice & Lovage, Into the Woods, 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (IRNE nomination), Lend Me A Tenor, Steel Magnolias, 9-5, Sunset Blvd, The Cemetery Club, Next to Normal, Gypsy, God of Carnage & A Little Night Music.

Jackie Daley

Education & Enrichment

Jackie Daley has been part of our management team and a Kidstock! educator and performer since 2017. She delights in directing, teaching, creating shows, and developing curriculum that fosters confidence, creativity, and empathy in young performers and storytellers. 

Jackie earned her BA from the University of Connecticut and is a Certified Kripalu YogaDance instructor. She completed the courses at Improv Boston Comedy School, has performed long form improv and improvised musicals in and around Boston, and is a member of Acme Improv Company. Previously, she served as the Instructor and Coordinator of the Arts for the after school program on the Caribbean island of Saba where she directed and choreographed musicals for the island’s theater program in addition to teaching dance, singing, improvised theater, and arts and crafts. 

Jackie loves performing at local theaters and has been in the Little Mermaid three times. Favorite roles include Prentiss in Peter in the Starcatcher, Emberly in Firebringer, and Tanya in Mamma Mia. She regularly performs in shows on tour for Kidstock!

Lauren Marie Miller-New

Lauren Marie Miller

Film & Creative Writing

Lauren Marie Miller wears many hats, directing, choreographing, costuming, and performing in productions at Kidstock! and beyond. 

Lauren graduated with a BFA in Media Arts Production from Emerson College, where she produced short films and web series that have screened at film festivals domestically and internationally. She was also a student mentor for Emerson Independent Video, the largest student-run production company in the United States. 

As a teacher, she has lead classes in playwriting at Playhouse Merced and art history at Ready, Set, Kids Enrichment Center. Her academic work was presented at the National Collegiate Honors Conference in 2020. Currently, she’s pursuing an MFA in Creative Writing from Lesley University and spends most of her time outside of Kidstock! reading, writing, and thinking about reading and writing.

Jim Lawrenson

Jim Lawrenson is an actor, producer and writer from Wilmington, MA.

Trained at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, Jim has performed Off-Broadway and across the globe since 2017. Off-Broadway, Jim performed in the original cast of YOUR ALICE, a true story of the creation of Alice in Wonderland as The White Rabbit. Jim continued to work with YOUR ALICE in Scotland and London alongside Paul Keating and Louise Dearman, receiving 5 stars reviews and listed among the “Must See Shows from The Edinburgh Fringe.” His other Off-Broadway credits include HAMLET (directed by Zenon Kruszelnicki) and TO WONG FOO: The Musical (directed by Douglas Carter Beane). 

Jim co-founded what is now known as Frost Studios in Nashville as a sketch comedy group in Boston with over 5 million views on YouTube. As a producer, Jim has worked with the Scranton Shakespeare Festival in Pennsylvania and local theaters in New York to produce original plays and radio-shows. 

After a long journey around the sun, Jim is so excited to be back home in Massachusetts, sharing the joy of theater with a young audience.

Sarah Nathanson

Educational Artist

Sarah Nathanson is a Boston transplant from upstate New York. 

She has a BA in Theatre with a Minor in Dance from Oberlin College & Conservatory. Sarah grew up on Original Broadway Cast albums, and has been involved both on and off the stage ever since. She has performed her own devised piece at the LaMama Experimental Theatre Club, directed musicals at Camp Ballibay for the Fine & Performing Arts, and studied classical acting at the British American Drama Academy in London. Her most recent regional credit was CHILDREN OF EDEN at the Aurora Theatre in Georgia. 

She is currently teaching at various schools around the city with the Kidstock! Outreach Program. She is also a Flexologist with StretchLab Medford, where she does stretch therapy. In her free time she enjoys crafting, yoga, singing, and bothering her roommate’s cats. Sarah is thrilled to be part of the Kidstock! team, bringing the wonders of theatre to children all over Boston.
