Brian Milton — Founder & Creative Director
Brian Milton is the founder of Kidstock! Creative Theater, which he established over 35 years ago, and the creator of the Kidstock Creative Method that continues to guide the organization’s approach to arts education. A lifelong Winchester resident and graduate of Tufts University, Brian has spent his career developing programs that center storytelling, collaboration, and personal growth for young performers. His directing and design work has been seen at organizations including Boston Children’s Theatre, Winchester Cooperative Theatre, and the Lyric Stage Company of Boston, where he produced the family theater series Once Upon a Time with Kidstock!. He also directed productions at Winchester High School for more than a decade, building a strong foundation for student-driven theater.
Brings to the team: A long-term vision for arts education rooted in the Kidstock! Creative Method, guiding both the culture of the organization and the work carried forward by its educators.
Kyla Blocker — Director of Operations
Kyla Blocker is a performing arts administrator, theater educator, and director with over a decade of experience creating impactful arts programs for young people. She holds degrees from New York University and is currently completing a Master’s in Arts Administration at Boston University. Kyla has led theater programs in schools and community organizations, producing multiple productions annually while developing curriculum that fosters creativity, collaboration, and student leadership. She is passionate about building systems and environments where both students and artists can thrive.
Brings to the team: Deep experience in program leadership, systems-building, and scaling arts education initiatives.
Emma Stewart — Director of Programs
Emma Stewart is a community-focused arts educator and event professional with a passion for creating meaningful, inclusive experiences. With a background in both theater and hospitality, she brings over a decade of experience in event coordination, program development, and team leadership. Emma has worked with youth theater programs such as Natick Drama Workshop, where she helps lead musical theater experiences that emphasize collaboration, kindness, and community connection. She is dedicated to building spaces where students feel seen, supported, and inspired to grow.
Brings to the team: A strong ability to design and manage programs that center community, connection, and inclusion.
Jacob Cramer — Educational Artist/Performer
Jacob Cramer is a storyteller, theater educator, and creative program designer dedicated to inspiring young audiences. A graduate of Yale University and the Universidad de Alcalá in Spain, he has designed and led theater experiences that support creativity, confidence, and social-emotional learning. As a Fulbright Scholar, Jacob created participatory storytelling programs for young children that toured schools and libraries across Spain. He brings a thoughtful, imaginative approach to teaching, helping students discover the power of storytelling through play and performance.
Brings to the team: Expertise in early childhood storytelling and designing imaginative, developmentally grounded experiences.
Abigail Urbaczewski — Educational Artist/Performer
Abigail Urbaczewski is a writer, director, and choreographer who is passionate about creating meaningful, story-driven experiences for young performers. She holds a BFA in Film from Ohio University, where she graduated magna cum laude, and brings a background in digital storytelling, media production, and youth arts education. Abigail has directed and choreographed youth productions while working extensively with children in camps and creative programs. She enjoys helping students explore storytelling both onstage and behind the scenes.
Brings to the team: A unique blend of theater and digital storytelling, expanding how students create and share their work.
Meg Salocks — Marketing Strategist
Meg Salocks is a marketing strategist and creative professional with over a decade of experience in digital engagement, design, and audience development across arts and cultural organizations. A former Kidstock! student herself, Meg first reconnected with the company in 2017 when she developed its original marketing and social media strategy. She later founded her own agency, Creative People Marketing, working with organizations including the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History, Jazz at Lincoln Center, Americans for the Arts, and The Henry Ford. In 2023, she reestablished her connection to Kidstock! as a lead marketing partner, bringing both her professional expertise and lifelong connection to the organization into her work.
