Welcome to Kidstock! We are excited to have you join us for some creative theater fun. Please review the following information carefully in advance of your class.

Class Location & Entrance
All Classes are held at the Kidstock Education Center at 50 Cross Street in Winchester.
Our main entrance is from the side parking lot under the black awning, not the door on Cross Street.
Absent Notifications
If your student is going to be absent for a class, please call our office 781-729-5543 or email us at admin@kidstocktheater.com.
There are no guaranteed make ups for missed classes and no refunds once a session begins.
Dismissal & Pick Up
All students are dismissed to our waiting room to connect with their parent/caregiver from either
If you wish us to allow your student (Grade 2 and up) to exit the building unsupervised to find you in your car you must fill out our LIABILITY WAIVER.
Parking Information
There is a large parking lot to the right of our building, on street parking in front on Cross Street, as well as an additional parking lot to the immediate left of our building which is easily accessed by the driveway between 40 and 50 Cross St.

Final Presentations
Every class celebrates the end of their session with a presentation for Family & Friends. These presentations are part of the final class. Our KCT Performance Companies, Playmakers & Showmakers, host performances for public audiences out side of their weekly rehearsal days & times.

Kidstock! Code of Creative Conduct - a safe space to discover, learn & grow
Kidstock! expects everyone to try their best, support each other, and provide positive feedback and encouragement. Intolerance of differences and/or choices, mean-spirited words or aggressive physical behavior is never tolerated. We all must listen, show respect and celebrate discovering the differences that makes each of us unique.
Behavior Expectations
It is expected that students and parent participate and cooperate with the following requests.
- Students are expected to be kind and respectful.
- Students are expected to be accepting of their peers, their differences and their choices.
- Students are expected to have self control over their emotions, their words and their actions.
- Students are expected to be curious, to try new things and to not self select out of any activity.
- Students are expected to arrive on time and remain in class until dismissal.
- Visiting siblings and/or friends are not able to attend class with the student.
- There are no cell phones during Kidstock! classes. Any device used will be taken by the instructor until the end of class.
- Keep your creativity “school appropriate.” If it wouldn’t be acceptable to say or do in school, it isn’t acceptable in a Kidstock! class. This includes using appropriate language and refraining from bringing violence or potty references into our creative fun.
- Students found to be intentionally and repetitively engaging in distracting or disrespectful behavior that is in conflict with the instructor’s instructions will be handled as follows:
- Verbal redirection from the Kidstock! instructor that the behavior is noticed and disruptive or disrespectful.
- A brief time out from the activity with a 2nd request asking the student to discontinue the intentional disruption.
- In the unlikely event that a student needs more than three requests to stop a behavior that is disrespecting or interrupting the class, parents will be contacted and the student will be highly encouraged to attend the next class and make alternative choices.
- In the unfortunate event that the identified behavior continues with the student’s return to class, the student will be removed from the class and there will be no refund.
What to Wear for Class
Comfortable clothes and shoes are best since our classes are very active. Sneakers are the best footwear.
What to Bring to Class
You just need to bring your imagination, curiosity and excitement to learn!
We recommend all students read our Kidstock Code of Conduct before class.
Snacks & Drinks
Class does not have a scheduled snack time. Any snack must be eaten in the waiting room before class starts. Kidstock! is a NUT FREE ZONE and any snacks in the waiting room or onsite must be nut free. Students may bring a water bottle if they wish since our facility does not have a water fountain.
What Parents & Caregivers Can Do During Class
Do you have to stay onsite during class? It’s not required for parents or caregivers to stay, but we do have a waiting room in the main building at 50 Cross Street open if you wish to remain onsite during a class.
Can you observe a class? Most of our classes are conducted in rooms with large viewing windows. We welcome your interest and typically schedule times for parents to join the class, but ask that you respect the class identity and not observe from in the classroom space.
Allergies
If your child has an epipen we invite you to leave it with us in our office for the duration of their class each week if you feel it is necessary.
Bathrooms
There are bathrooms conveniently located at the end of the hallway past our office. Students are able to use these facilities during class, but it is always helpful if everyone has “taken care of business” before class starts. Storystage students will be accompanied to the bathroom by a staff member during class but must be fully independent in toileting themselves. All other students will be allowed to go to and from the bathroom independently during class time.
